The Perfect Location
Villa Patrizi is ideally located along Via Provinciale Marina Grande, halfway between the lively Piazzetta in the heart of Capri town and the bustling port below. You can reach the center of town in just ten minutes, walking a pleasant route up a historic staircase and past the medieval town gate of Via Acquaviva, following a number of pedestrian-only lanes. The port is also just a five-minute walk away. If you'd rather not walk, there are buses that run to the Piazzetta and port, and the stop is just 50 meters from our villa. Buses pass every 15 minutes. From the Piazzetta, you can walk back to the villa taking the Via Acquaviva staircase down to Via Provinciale Marina Grande. Continue downhill for about 50 meters to our upper entrance (n. 109) on the left. We can also arrange private transfers upon request.
- 700 mt. Marina Grande: the main port on Capri where ferries dock. Boat tours of the island and the Blue Grotto depart from here, and it's the perfect spot for a romantic dinner on the water's edge in the evening.
- 450 mt. The Piazzetta: this small square is the heart of Capri town, and the best time to soak in its chic atmosphere is the evening cocktail hour. Explore the boutiques along Via Camerelle and Via Le Botteghe from here.
- 50 mt. The bus stop: routes to Capri town, Marina Grande, and Anacapri stop here. Buses run frequently and you can purchase your ticket from the driver for EUR 2.50.
- 900 mt. Gardens of Augustus: stroll through this park for breaktaking views over the Faraglioni sea stacks off the coast and the spectacular switchbacks of Via Krupp.
Directions to Villa Patrizi
From Capri's port, you can take one of the traditional open-air island taxis (around EUR 20) or the San Costanzo bus (EUR 2 at the ticket window or EUR 2.50 if purchased on board). If you are taking the bus, ask the driver to let you off at Curva Telecom. Once you've gotten off the bus, walk back in the direction you just came to our lower and main entrance on the left (n. 125), about 50 meters downhill.
Please note: though we are only about 700 meters from the port, we do not recommend walking to the villa due to the multiple flights of stairs. Opt for a bus or taxi upon arriving on Capri!
